In this Webinar, the registration of brands in the USA will be explored through a practical commercial lens-what to do and what not to do before, during, and after the process.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn how to mitigate risks and avoid economic sanctions when facing the possibility of infringing upon third-party rights.
International brand owners will be advised on how to enforce their international registrations in the USA, as well as the corresponding limitations.
In addition, international licenses will be analyzed as an effective instrument for moving into foreign markets and as a way to monetize intellectual property rights to intangible actions. Furthermore, the performance of the Industrial Property Offices in Latin America, including the role that emerging economies play in the USA, will be reviewed.
